Yukiko awoke in the classroom, with the others students. She watched the events that unfolded there. Due to the early departure of Yumiko Kusaka, Yukiko was unable to meet up with her best friend. Instead, she made her way to the residential district, where she encountered Hirono Shimizu and Shinji Mimura. Yukiko attempted to vouch for Shinji, trying to convince Hirono to trust them, but she was gunned down by Yoshimi Yahagi.

Yukiko was potrayaed as a kind individual, who was surprisingly brave. She was trusting and somewhat optimistic, though also somewhat nervous around Hirono.

Differences from CanonEdit

As in the original, Yukiko was a peacemaker, attempting to bridge the gap between Hirono and Shinji. She was willing to put her own life on the line. She displayed a bit more initiative in this version, probably due to her forced separation from Yumiko.

Your Thoughts Edit

Whether you were a fellow handler in SOTF Mini or just an avid reader of the site, we'd like to know what you thought about Yukiko. What did you like, or dislike, about the character? Let us know here!

  • Yukiko was a pretty solid character who just didn't get enough chance to really do anything. Like Kazuhiko, Yukiko suffered from having a character heavily tied to her go unclaimed and end up as an NPC. Unfortunately, she sort of drops everything related to Yumiko after leaving the school, and then has a rather brief story before getting gunned down by Yoshimi Yahagi. Yukiko isn't bad or anything; she just feels like something of a missed opportunity since she never really develops much of a plot or direction, which is tough but doable even in short-lived characters. - MurderWeasel
